HR Business Partner - County Antrim

MCS Group is delighted to partner with a leading private sector organisation, as they look to add an HR Business Partner to their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping people strategy during a period of growth and transformation.

As HRBP, you will partner closely with operational leaders across multiple sites, providing expert guidance on all people‑related matters. You will be hands‑on, commercially minded, and confident navigating a diverse workforce.

The main responsibilities
  • Lead ER activity including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and performance issues.
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning and talent development initiatives.
  • Drive engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives across the workforce.
  • Oversee change management programmes including restructures, TUPE and organisational development activity.
  • Coach managers to build capability and drive a positive, compliant people culture.
  • Ensure HR policies, processes and documentation remain aligned with legislation and industry standards.
  • Partner with Health & Safety and Site Teams to maintain strong working practices and a safe, inclusive work environment.
  • Analyse people data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
The ideal candidate
  • Proven HR Business Partnering experience within a fast‑paced, diverse work environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of NI and UK employment law.
  • Confidence managing complex ER cases and supporting change initiatives.
