Position Summary

The HR Business Partner provides a business-focused, strategic and operational HR service to leaders and employees across the UK, both onshore and offshore. The HR Business Partner builds strong working relationships and partners closely with leaders to understand operational priorities, drive HR strategy and deliver a professional HR service covering the full remit of the employee lifecycle, including talent management, reward, employee relations, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Proactively support the delivery of HR processes across the UK, both onshore and offshore
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing expert guidance on HR-related issues that strengthens organisational capability and accelerates talent
  • Promoting a positive employee relations climate by advising and coaching leaders on employee relations issues, including discipline, grievance, sickness absence, ill health capability, and performance management
  • Lead and manage complex projects, including TUPE, redundancy, and changes to terms and conditions of employment
  • Lead and participate in change management initiatives that enhance the employee experience and elevate organisational effectiveness
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence in the planning and execution of HR initiatives, including reward campaigns, annual performance reviews, employee engagement surveys, and talent development / succession planning
  • Influencing the development of business centered HR policies and processes, ensuring legislative compliance
  • Build strong working relationship with leaders and internal stakeholders
  • Partner with leadership to determine workforce planning requirements and work alongside Talent Acquisition to manage the recruitment and selection process for both full-time and temporary resources, ensuring compliance with Company policy, budget requirements and compensation philosophy
  • Manage the transfer of employees into and out of the region by liaising with global HR teams
  • Through close partnerships with peers and external networks, maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices, legislative requirements and key trends
  • Actively seek out opportunities for improvement in departmental procedures and ways of working
  • Leverage HR metrics and data to identify opportunities for improvement and to inform decision-making.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in Human Resource Management or related discipline
  • Proven success in partnering with senior leaders, preferably across multiple geographies
  • In depth knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Significant employee relations experience
  • Demonstratable experience in navigating a global matrix organisation
  • Proficient in translating business objectives into actionable HR strategies and measuring progress/success
  • Strong experience in managing strategic organisational change effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, trust and credibility with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstratable leadership, coaching and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong business acumen and commercially focused
  • Adept at leveraging HR metrics and data to inform strategy
  • Capable of demonstrating high emotional intelligence (EQ) and resilience
  • Displays a continuous improvement mindset.
DESIRED
  • Chartered membership with the CIPD
  • Experience supporting both onshore and offshore workforces
  • Exposure to trade unions / industrial relations.
Additional Information

A hybrid position that will require commuting to a designated office a minimum of three days per week.
