The Role

We are seeking an organised and proactive HR Assistant to join our European HR team on a 5‑month maternity cover contract. In this role, you will be a first point of contact for employees, supporting the full employee lifecycle and ensuring smooth execution of HR operational processes across the UK and wider European region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficient and effective handling of daily administration and routine operational processes.
  • Provision of support to employees and managers on HR-related queries, working closely with the HR Manager.
  • Employee data and record management – ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all processing activities.
  • Provision of accurate, complete and timely inputs into the monthly payroll cycle.
  • Support for corporate HR initiatives, process optimisation, and proactive participation in European HR projects in collaboration with the wider HR team.
  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
