HR Assistant (HRIS focus) – East Kent – Perm – £33K – £38K

We’re pleased to be supporting a well-established global manufacturing & engineering organisation, now seeking an HR Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a varied HR role with exposure to both operational HR and support the team as they roll out a new HRIS system.

Reporting directly to the HR Director, you’ll work closely with three HR Officers across different sites, supporting a number of UK business units within the group. This role offers a blend of 60% HR administration and 40% systems/project work, including involvement in the ongoing implementation of Dayforce.

Key Responsibilities
HR Administration & Employee Support
  • Managing recruitment administration and supporting end-to-end hiring processes
  • Coordinating onboarding activities and ensuring all compliance checks (including security clearance) are completed
  • Handling day-to-day HR queries and supporting low-level ER cases
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring smooth documentation processes
Dayforce Implementation & Systems Work
  • Supporting the rollout and configuration of Dayforce across the business
  • Assisting with data input, validation and system testing
  • Troubleshooting user queries and helping to embed new processes
  • Playing an active role in wider project activity across HR and operations
  • Dayforce experience is desirable but not essential
