  • Lead and coordinate all work experience and internship applications.
  • Support with the preparation of HR documentation.
  • Administer the new joiner life cycle.
  • Conduct Right to Work and Conflicts Checks.
  • Take ownership of new joiner trackers and checklists.
  • Coordinate leaver administration including conducting exit interviews.
  • Assist with filtering trainee applications.
  • Attend Law Fairs and Graduate Recruitment Events.

HR Assistant – 12 Month FTC

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a top US law firm as a HR Assistant on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

  • 09:30-17:30 (Monday-Friday)
  • Hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days WFH)
Key Responsibilities of the HR Assistant:
  • Lead and coordinate all work experience and internship applications
  • Support with the preparation of HR documentation e.g. probation letters
  • Administer the new joiner life cycle i.e. issue contracts of employment, on-board new joiners to the HR system, initiate background checks and visa sponsorships, arrange new joiner induction meetings, and prepare schedules
  • Conduct Right to Work and Conflicts Checks and flagging any discrepancies to the Senior HR Manager
  • Take ownership of new joiner trackers and checklists for associates, trainees, and business services staff
  • Coordinate leaver administration including conducting business services staff exit interviews where appropriate
  • Assist with filtering trainee applications and assist with setting up trainee interviews
  • Attending Law Fairs and Graduate Recruitment Events, ordering, and designing branded merchandise for marketing
Skills & Requirements of the HR Assistant:
  • 1-2 years of experience working within HR
  • Experience working in a Law Firm or other professional services
