HR Assistant

20 hours per week

Permanent - £15,458.38 - £16,768.65 (FTE £28,598 - £31,022) per annum

Are you a motivated, strong administrator looking for an exciting new opportunity? Do you want to work within a supportive and friendly team in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment with an opportunity to develop your recruitment and payroll knowledge? We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Assistant with strong organisational skills and attention to detail to join our team. The role will be part‑time (20 hours per week) to be worked over 3 or 4 days per week, including Mondays and Fridays.

In this role you’ll support a whole range of activities such as recruitment and onboarding, monthly payroll inputting (including new starters), learning and development and much more! As we offer a shared service with Malvern Hills District Council, this is a great opportunity to work across two forward‑thinking and community‑focused councils.

About You
  • Have experience of working in a busy office environment
  • Have strong administration experience including some knowledge of relevant regulations, legislation and systems processes
  • Be competent in the use of MS Office software
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Pride themselves on delivering excellent customer service and performance
  • Have a flexible, proactive and solutions‑focused approach
