Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford), Old Road Campus, Headington, Oxford.

Oxford Population Health contains world‑renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. The department has around 1,000 staff, students and academic visitors working in a number of world‑renowned research groups to investigate the causes and prevention of disease and to lead human health forward.

Position

We are seeking a HR Assistant with relevant experience managing administrative processes to work in the departmental HR team. The role will provide support on all aspects of HR for NDPH, including recruitment and selection, work permits and general HR administration.

  • Support all HR processes for the department, including recruitment and selection.
  • Manage work permits and visa arrangements.
  • Conduct general HR administration duties and provide administrative support to the team.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience managing administrative processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Access.
  • Excellent communication skills and high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work methodically with accuracy and to handle confidential matters with tact and discretion.
Employment Terms

This is a full‑time post (part‑time hours will be considered) to cover a secondment. The post is available for 1 year or the return of the substantive postholder, or the resignation of the substantive postholder and hiring of a new postholder, whichever comes first.
