Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking an enthusiastic HR Assistant to join an established team in South Manchester on a temporary contract.

You will provide administrative support across HR activities, assist with recruitment and onboarding, maintain employee records and respond to day-to-day queries to help deliver fair, policy-compliant HR services.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in HR, personnel, recruitment or administration role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with employees and managers

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HR databases or systems

Temporary Contract
Hourly Rate: ~£16 Per Hour

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic HR Assistant to join an established team within a local housing association.

The HR Assistant will play an important role in supporting the smooth and effective delivery of HR services, providing administrative support to colleagues and managers across the organisation.

This is a varied role where you will assist with a range of HR activities, including recruitment and onboarding, maintaining accurate employee records, supporting HR processes and responding to day-to-day queries from employees and managers.

The role will help ensure our employees feel supported, valued and listened to, while ensuring HR processes are managed fairly, consistently and in line with organisational policies and employment legislation.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in an HR, personnel, recruitment or administration role, or a strong interest in developing a career in HR.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with employees and managers professionally and sensitively.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly when maintaining confidential employee records and processing HR documentation.
  • Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office and HR databases or systems.
  • The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
  • The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
