HR Assistant - Co. Down - FMCG

MCS Group are excited to be recruiting for a motivated and people-focused HR Assistant to join a dynamic and growing organisation in the food sector. This role offers the chance to get involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, delivering efficient HR support while helping to foster a positive and engaged workforce.

The Role & Responsibilities

As HR Assistant you will:

  • Support the coordination of HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
  • Maintain employee records, HR systems, and contracts while ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide day-to-day HR administration, including payroll support and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist with employee relations queries.
  • Contribute to employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports, track KPIs, and assist with audits or inspections.
  • Assist with ER matters (i.e. grievances, disciplinaries, etc.)
The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar HR role.
  • CIPD qualified (desirable)
  • Good knowledge of HR processes and awareness of employment law.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and professional approach.
