Job description

Greensand Multi Academy Trust is looking to appoint an experienced administrator to take on the role of HR and Recruitment Administrator in our friendly and welcoming Central Team as soon as possible.

This is a busy administrative role primarily supporting recruitment across our ten schools, including:

Responsibilities
  • Working collaboratively with recruiting managers across the trust to support all recruitment activity: drafting adverts, preparing job descriptions and person specifications, advertising roles and managing campaigns using our applicant tracking system, including arranging interviews, requesting references and carrying out appropriate pre‑interview checks
  • Completing all new‑starter pre‑appointment checks
  • Preparing offer letters and employment contracts
  • Preparing a weekly jobs bulletin for internal circulation
  • Providing efficient and effective personnel administration for contractual changes
  • Supporting with internal scrutiny, such as auditing HR files and school single central records
  • Administering appropriate pension scheme submissions for new starters and leavers
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience of working in a busy administrative role
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • The confidence to work with IT software packages

Term Time & Working Hours

Part‑time (30‑36 hours per week) over 42 weeks per year (term time plus an additional 3 weeks). Office‑based role at Reigate School, Pendleton Road, Reigate.

Salary

The full‑time equivalent annual salary is £27,634 to £29,604. The pro‑rata annual salary starts at £21,335 based on 30 hours per week over 42 weeks per annum.
