Job summary

Salford City Council is seeking an HR and OD Consultant to work permanently or on fixed-term contracts. You will partner with managers, support HR casework and transformational change initiatives, and drive inclusive, people-first advice across services to benefit Salford residents.

• Has a background in HR casework and supporting through transformational change
• Thrives in a varied role and enjoys helping leaders shape and deliver their people plans
• Communicates with confidence and builds strong, influential relationships
• Brings empathy, integrity, and a commitment to inclusion and innovation
• Has solid employment law knowledge and can manage complex ER cases with care and clarity
