Job summary

A recruitment agency in the UK is seeking a Human Resources professional to serve as the trusted point of contact for employees and management. The role involves managing employee relations and ensuring compliance, particularly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment like the energy sector. Candidates must be CIPD qualified or studying towards it and possess strong interpersonal skills. This is a three-month contract with various HR responsibilities, providing a chance to enhance your HR expertise.

Qualifications

  • CIPD qualified or currently studying towards.
  • Proven experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, ideally in the energy sector.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Building strong relationships across the workforce as the first point of contact for HR queries.
  • Leading case management (grievance, disciplinary, absence, redundancy) with clear communication.
  • Coordinating and issuing employment documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate records and payroll notifications.
  • Producing HR activity reports and supporting scheduling of meetings, interviews and events.
  • Managing the exit process and contributing to HR projects and initiatives.
  • Advising operations on legal compliance across all aspects of the role.

Be the trusted HR focal point for workers and leaders - responding to queries quickly, pre-empting issues and helping the operation stay compliant and engaged. For the three-month contract, you’ll partner closely with the HR Business Partner, drive proactive employee relations and case management while keeping day to day HR processes running smoothly.

Main duties and responsibilities
