Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor, working a flexible 20 hours per week, based over 4 or 5 days, or 3 full days, requiring 3 days onsite in Aldershot.

We’re looking for a confident HR professional to drive operational excellence across the employee lifecycle, with a focus on employee relations, and coaching and delivering HR process training to educate line managers in the development of soft skills. Working closely with the HR Business Partner and People Services Team, you’ll provide expert support to employees and managers while ensuring consistency in HR policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support line managers with the execution and delivery of ER cases including Occupational Health Assessments
  • Deliver HR process training to educate line managers in the development of soft skills
  • Provide coaching and guidance on all HR policy and processes
  • Act as the focal point for all HR issues and provide first line HR support and advice to all employees and managers
  • Work with the People Services Team to produce documentation such as starter packs, standard letters, reports and contracts
  • Assist with Occupational Health and Wellbeing activities
  • Work with the third-party recruitment suppliers to manage resourcing activities
  • Prepare HR data to help support local business unit decision making, and report insights back to the central HR function
  • Support and contribute to process improvement projects

About You

You will be CIPD part-qualified or qualified, bringing a flexible and proactive approach to supporting HR operations. You’ll build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, acting with integrity and transparency. An interest in Employee Relations and coaching and training is a plus, and a valid driving licence is essential.
