About the role

Can you bring your advisory skills to our HR team based in Willenhall where you can enjoy a collaborative culture that empowers you to build a career you can be proud of.

What you will do

As an HR Advisor on a 9‑month maternity cover, you will join our HR Shared Services team and play a key role in delivering exceptional HR support across the business, based at our Portobello site. You will work closely with the Head of HR to deliver outstanding support and partner with managers to drive positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide generalist HR advice and support across all employee lifecycle activities including recruitment, onboarding, absence management, performance, training and leaver processes.
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement of policies and processes.
  • Use workforce analytics to enhance processes and employee experience.
  • Support change management initiatives including organisational restructuring.
  • Maintain compliance with legislation and ensure accurate documentation and system updates.
What we need
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR advisory role.
  • A CIPD qualification or a strong working towards qualification.
  • Experience working in a large, complex organisation (ideally).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle challenging situations.
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to manage a fast‑paced workload.
