Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a manufacturing business to recruit an HR Advisor in this full-time, permanent role based in Sheffield. You will work closely with managers and employees, supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and day-to-day HR activity in a busy operational environment.

The role involves coordinating onboarding, maintaining HR records, producing reports and looking for process improvements to enhance the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR experience in a busy, operational environment.
• Experience across recruitment, onboarding and wider employee lifecycle activity.
• CIPD qualification, or working towards one, would be advantageous.
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering or construction would be particularly useful.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment from vacancy through to appointment with managers and external partners.
• Coordinating the onboarding process, including references, pre-employment checks, paperwork and inductions.
• Supporting training and development activity, including mandatory training and apprenticeships.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR information, ensuring data is kept up to date and handled confidentially.
• Producing HR reports and information to support managers with people-related decisions.
