The Role:

This job is based out of our Hebburn Branch – Hebburn, Newcastle, Tyne & Wear, NE31 1SP and involves providing comprehensive HR support across the business to ensure fair, consistent, and effective people management.

Role Overview:
  • Support with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practice
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle including end to end recruitment for 2 of our sites
  • Review and analyse salary benchmarking data
  • Advise and support managers on employee relations issues
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, company policies, and health & safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate employee records and utilise HR systems effectively
  • Contribute to strategic HR planning and organisational development projects
Requirements:
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite
  • Experience managing complex employee relations cases
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Great organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in pay/reward benchmarking
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and manage competing demands
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Previous HR experience or a relevant HR qualification (or equivalent)
What We Offer:
  • Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30
  • Starting Salary £35,000 with review to increase to £38,000 following successful probation period
