A respected HR consultancy in Swindon is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to deliver client-focused HR support. The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified or working towards it and have excellent UK employment law knowledge. Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this well respected and growing HR consultancy based in Swindon to recruit an experienced and proactive HR Advisor on a permanent basis. The role is site based in Swindon and free on-site parking is provided.

What you’ll be doing / key activities:
  • First point of contact for the HR Advice Line service, ensuring accurate, timely and commercial HR advice and support for clients
  • Providing advice to clients on all aspects of HR, particularly employee relations matters, over the telephone and via email
  • Advising and managing on behalf of clients’ disciplinary issues, employee grievances, performance management, redundancies and TUPE
  • Creating and issuing documents that supports the specialist advice provided to clients
  • Delivering project work including staff surveys, salary benchmarking and managing client appraisals
  • Helping develop and prepare training materials
  • Creating and updating client policies, procedures and handbooks to ensure compliance with employment law and good HR practice
What we’re looking for / about you:
  • CIPD qualified / working towards, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent and up to date UK employment law knowledge
  • Experience in managing a range of ER casework
  • Graduate calibre
  • HR experience over various business sectors is desirable
  • Commercially aware of the needs of small businesses
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to organise own workload to meet targets and deadlines
  • Good MS Office skills – Word, PowerPoint and Excel
