Overview

Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this well respected and growing HR consultancy based in Swindon to recruit an experienced and proactive HR Advisor on a permanent basis. The role is site based in Swindon and free on-site parking is provided.

What you'll be doing / key activities
  • First point of contact for the HR Advice Line service, ensuring accurate, timely and commercial HR advice and support for clients
  • Providing advice to clients on all aspects of HR, particularly employee relations matters, over the telephone and via email
  • Advising and managing on behalf of clients\' disciplinary issues, employee grievances, performance management, redundancies, and TUPE
  • Creating and issuing documents that supports the specialist advice provided to clients
  • Delivering project work including staff surveys, salary benchmarking and managing client appraisals
  • Helping develop and prepare training materials
  • Creating and updating client policies, procedures, and handbooks to ensure compliance with employment law and good HR practice
What we\'re looking for / about you
  • CIPD qualified / working towards, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent and up to date UK employment law knowledge
  • Experience in managing a range of ER casework
  • Graduate calibre
  • HR experience over various business sectors is desirable.
  • Commercially aware of the needs of small businesses
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to organise own workload to meet targets and deadlines
  • Good MS Office skills - Word, PowerPoint and Excel
