Job summary

B&M Retail Limited is seeking an HR Advisor for The Vault Distribution Centre in Speke. You will support HR Business Partners with day-to-day HR operations, provide managers with HR guidance, and assist employees with queries.

Travel to other DCs may be required on rare occasions. This role requires handling ER matters, staying current with employment law, and efficiently managing multiple HR tasks in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High volume ER experience in warehouse or factory settings.
• Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to multi-task across competing priorities.
• Experience in a unionised environment is desirable.
• Self-motivated and able to manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Providing sound HR advice to management and employees as appropriate.
• Conducting Right to Work checks and maintaining trackers.
• Conducting HR investigations and disciplinaries when required.
• Monitoring sickness/absence/performance of colleagues.
• Supporting general HR administration tasks and colleague details files.
• Getting involved with HR-related projects across the business.
