Job description
Post Title: HR Advisor
Sites: Bournemouth international Centre, with some travel to other BH Live sites as and when required.
Salary: £18,902.76 per annum, for 22 hours per week
FTE Salary: £31,791 per annum
Hours: 22 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Working pattern: 3 consecutive days per week - Thursday and Friday with the further day to be agreed.
The role:

Working as part of a small team at Bournemouth International Centre, you will provide generalist HR advice and support across the whole employee lifecycle.

If you are someone who enjoys working within a varied HR role, are good at building relationships with people and have an understanding of employment law and legislation, we would love you to apply.

You will:
  • Provide HR advice, support and guidance to our managers, in line with UK employment law and legislation.
  • Have accountability for allocated employee relations cases including attendance, performance, disciplinary, grievance and safeguarding.
  • Attend and provide HR support at formal meetings.
  • Support the administration processes within the employee lifecycle including processing new starters, changes and leavers using the HR system, ensuring records are correct for payroll.
  • Support recruitment activity, monitor recruitment clearances and onboarding paperwork using an Applicant Tracking System.
  • Build strong working relationships with BH Live colleagues and managers.
  • Support the Head of HR to deliver strategic business plan activity.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to managers.
To be successful you will need:
  • Experience of working in an HR environment.
  • Great organisational skills with a keen eye for attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for providing great customer service.
  • An understanding of GDPR and the need for confidentiality.
  • To be committed to continuous professional development and keeping abreast of forthcoming changes to legislation.
