A caring services organization in the UK is seeking an HR Advisor to deliver high-quality HR support. This role involves managing employee relations cases and providing guidance to line managers. Candidates should be CIPD Level 3 qualified with experience in handling HR issues. As HR Advisor, you will provide high quality HR support, guidance and advice to line managers on all ER related matters and train line managers in the application of HR related policies, procedures and processes.
You will support the Senior HR Advisor and HR Services Manager in the delivery of an exceptional HR advisory service and work collaboratively with other embers of the People Team and functions across HC-One.
Qualified to CIPD Level 3 (or with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a HR role managing a high volume of ER cases and committed to complete CIPD qualification) you have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of managing a high volume of ER cases to an appropriate conclusion, of dealing with matters confidently and sensitively with a sound knowledge of GDPR.
You have a commercially focussed approach, in depth and up to date knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice and experience of interpreting policies, procedures and situations in order to identify and apply pragmatic solutions and recommendations.
With excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, you can effectively influence, persuade and provide clear, concise and consistent advice and build good working relationships. You have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring facts are correct, complete and consistent, are IT literate and can analyse management information to drive decision making.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
