Job summary

A leading HR consultancy is searching for an HR Advisor to provide comprehensive HR and Employment Law advice to clients across various sectors in Ringway. The role involves working within a team to deliver effective compliance support and building strong client relationships. Ideal candidates will possess practical experience and have a dynamic approach to work, ensuring high-quality service delivery. This position is fully based on-site and offers a competitive salary up to £45,000.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legally compliant HR and Employment Law advice and support.
  • Work within team KPIs to deliver quality advice within set SLAs.
  • Ensure personal knowledge of employment law is continually updated.
  • Record advice accurately against appropriate cases.
  • Attend legal briefings and company training for compliance.

  • Deliver HR training via webinar or in person if required.

Job description
HR Advisor

Manchester - fully on site

Salary up to £45,000

Portfolio are working with a leading Manchester business to find a dynamic HR Advisor, where you will provide HR and Employment Law advice and support to clients throughout different sectors.

The role requires you to work within a team providing legally compliant advice and HR assistance to clients by telephone to support the needs of the individual client and to highlight any options that are non-compliant as well as ensuring the client is fully aware of the risk these options present. You will actively own cases to resolution, building rapport and relationships with clients on each interaction.

What's involved
  • To work in line with the departmental KPIs, ensuring support is provided to clients in a productive manner with quality sound advice and within set SLAs.
  • To ensure that personal knowledge of employment law and HR best practice is continually updated.
  • To advise, assist and guide clients with all employment law/HR enquiries received.
  • To ensure that all advice is recorded accurately against the appropriate cases and all other client and call information is correctly captured on the database.
  • Attend legal briefings and internal company training to ensure that advice provided is compliant.
  • Ensure departmental protocols are adhered to ensuring a high-quality level of service is always provided.
  • Deliver HR and employment law related training via webinar or in person if required.
  • Attend departmental or office team meetings.
  • Always maintain a professional and responsible attitude.
  • Work as part of a busy team and carry out any other tasks deemed necessary by the Management Team.
