Do you enjoy delivering a comprehensive HR advisory service to a diverse range of stakeholders? Are you looking to join a team where your expertise can make a real impact on how our organisation operates and serves our communities?

Your Role

As a HR Advisor, you’ll play a key role in providing expert guidance across TfGM, with a particular focus on Employee Relations casework. Working closely with HR Partners, you’ll support managers across the organisation on a wide range of cases, from wellbeing concerns to complex grievance and disciplinary matters. Your ability to interpret policies and employment legislation will be essential in helping managers navigate sensitive situations confidently and fairly.

You’ll also lead on the management of temporary contracts, including fixed-term and secondment arrangements, and contribute to broader People team initiatives such as job evaluation, policy development, and HR data reporting.

This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to work from the office two days per week.

What You’ll Bring

This is a busy and varied role, ideal for someone who thrives on providing excellent customer service and is confident handling complex HR matters. You’ll have:

  • Proven experience in a HR Advisory capacity, with a strong track record of managing Employee Relations casework.
  • The ability to interpret and apply employment policies and legislation, ideally within a unionised environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation.
