What You'll Do

Employee Relations
- Give practical, trusted advice on people matters, always aiming for fair and consistent outcomes.
- Lead and support casework including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability.
- Coach and upskill managers so they feel confident handling issues the right way.
- Keep accurate, confidential ER records in line with policy and legislation.
- Spot trends from ER cases and help the People team address root causes early.
- Review and shape policies so they're clear, fair, and reflect how we work at Bionic.
- Champion Equality, Diversity and Inclusion across everything we do.
- Support our commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing by working with Property and managers to keep our workplaces safe.

Employee Experience and Engagement
- Be a voice for colleagues by supporting engagement surveys, focus groups, and action planning.
- Partner with managers to turn feedback into positive change in their teams.
- Help run wellbeing, recognition, and inclusion activities that make Bionic a great place to work.
- Support internal campaigns that bring our values and people initiatives to life.
- Get involved in projects focused on culture, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

HR Advice and Policy
- Give clear, consistent advice on policies and processes across the business.
- Help keep our policies up to date with legislation and best practice.
- Support people-related change projects, including restructures and consultations, making sure colleagues are treated with respect throughout.

Data, Insights and Improvement
- Use people data to spot trends and share insights that improve the colleague experience.
- Review outcomes and feedback from ER cases to drive learning and prevention.
About You
You'll need to bring:
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards Level 7) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a busy HR Advisory role with strong ER focus.
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Confidence managing complex and sensitive cases.
- Real experience promoting EDI in how you work and advise.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- A coaching mindset and the ability to build trust quickly.
- Strong analytical skills, able to turn data into actions.
- Calm under pressure, organised, and discreet.
- Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Even better if you have
- Experience in a fast-paced sales or contact centre environment.
- Hands‑on experience running engagement or wellbeing initiatives.
- Exposure to culture or change management projects.
