Overview

As our HR Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering our people strategy and supporting our management teams through every stage of the employment lifecycle. No two days are the same.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Employee Relations, offering clear, practical advice and supporting managers through all ER processes.
  • Coach and train managers on best practices in people management, empowering them to address team performance and ER issues confidently.
  • Collaborate with the HR and Payroll Administrator and Senior Payroll Officer to coordinate HR and payroll activities and the smooth running of the operational HR team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes, ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate journey.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practice.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and provide people metrics to inform decision‑making.
  • Support internal communications and help maintain our positive culture.
  • Ensure HR compliance with employment law and GDPR.
Qualifications
  • CIPD Qualified (Ideally Level 5 or working towards).
  • Strong HR Generalist with up-to-date Employment Law knowledge.
  • Proven experience providing high‑quality Employee Relations (ER) advice.
  • Confident coaching managers and building trusted relationships.
  • Passionate about delivering a high‑quality HR service.
  • Adaptable, highly organised, and willing to work collaboratively in the team.
  • Willing to work hard, embrace change, and have fun in a collaborative HR team.
  • Demonstrable experience managing ER cases and providing quality advice.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong collaborative approach and ability to work cross‑functionally.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
