THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced, high-impact environment? We are currently supporting a well-established global organisation in the recruitment of an HR Advisor for a maternity cover contract.

THE ROLE

You'll join a collaborative and dynamic HR team, providing day-to-day support across a wide range of generalist HR functions. The focus will be on employee relations and operational HR support, helping to drive engagement and ensure HR best practice across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide first-line support and guidance to employees and managers on HR matters, particularly around employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management.
  • Support HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, and lifecycle documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems, ensuring compliance with data protection and audit requirements.
  • Produce letters, reports, and other HR documentation as required.
  • Work closely with the wider HR team and line managers to support key people initiatives and projects.
  • Promote a best-practice HR service and contribute to a positive employee experience.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, either as an HR Advisor or Assistant ready to step up.
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law and employee relations processes.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Comfortable using HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
