We’re supporting a well‑established manufacturing business in their search for a proactive HR Advisor to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a hands‑on, down‑to‑earth environment and wants to make a real impact in a people‑focused business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first‑line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across the business
  • Support the HR Manager with Employee Relations cases (absence, performance, disciplinary, grievance, etc.)
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding, ensuring a smooth candidate and new starter experience
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
  • Support the delivery of training, development, and wellbeing initiatives
  • Assist in updating and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Prepare HR data and reports as needed
  • Get involved in ad‑hoc HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards) or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a similar HR role
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels
  • Hands‑on and adaptable, with a practical approach to problem‑solving
  • Able to balance operational priorities with long‑term people initiatives
