Job summary

A reputable manufacturing company in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HR Advisor. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a significant impact in a busy site environment. Key responsibilities include managing employee relations cases, leading recruitment, and driving engagement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have strong employee relations experience, relationship-building skills, and preferably experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments. This is a Monday to Friday, site-based role that emphasizes a people-first culture.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in end-to-end employee relations, handling both day-to-day and complex cases.
  • Proven ability to build relationships at all levels and with unions.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment is preferred.

Are you a confident HR professional with a passion for employee relations and making a real impact on the ground? We re looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established manufacturing site. This role is offering variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a difference every day. NB: This is a Monday to Friday, site based role!

What You ll Be Doing:
  • Managing employee relations cases
  • Leading end-to-end recruitment on site
  • Driving employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
  • Coaching and up-skilling line managers
  • Supporting various projects and initiatives
  • Partnering closely with trade unions and senior managers
What We re Looking For:
  • Strong experience in end to end employee relations (day to day & complex cases)
  • Proven ability to build relationships at all levels, and with unions
  • Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment or similar
  • Comfortable using HR systems and MS Office
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent) desirable but not essential
