Overview

Job Title: HR Administrator
Location: Springtown, Northern Ireland
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: HR Business Partner (HRBP) Senior Manager
£18.50 p/hour - approx. £37k p/annum

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Advisor to join our HRBP team in Derry/L'Derry.

This role is critical in supporting the day-to-day HR operations, with a strong focus on the application of HR Policy and Procedures and payroll administration.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth administrative processes and compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Managers in implementing and maintaining the Attendance Management Policy & Procedure.
  • Support Managers in the implementation of employee relations procedures such as discipline and grievance.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records.
  • Liaise with managers to ensure consistent application of attendance policies.
  • Collaborate with Managers and teams across the site to support 4-weekly payroll processing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with payroll-related regulations.
  • Provide administrative support across the HRBP team as required
  • Support HRBP-led initiatives such as audits, policy updates, and employee engagement activities.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a HR role, to include supporting Mangers in the application of HR polices and procedures
  • Experience in the application of employee relations procedures such as discipline and grievance.
  • Highly diligent, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel, and HRIS systems
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with UK employment law and HR best practices is a plus.
Working Environment

You'll be part of a dynamic HR team supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation. The role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. You'll work closely with HRBPs, payroll specialists, and site managers to ensure operational excellence.
