People Advisor – 2-Year Fixed Term Contract

📍Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days in office)
🕒Contract: Full-time, 2-Year FTC

We’re looking for a People Advisor to join a collaborative, high-performing People & Culture team on a two-year journey to deliver exceptional support while developing your expertise.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of the people team, supporting People Partners with Employee Relations cases, coaching and upskilling managers and acting as the first point of contact for managers and employees. You’ll provide pragmatic, timely advice on everything from performance and wellbeing, to managing employee relations, while contributing to projects that enhance engagement and culture, partnering with Reward, Learning and TA teams.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Be the go-to advisorfor people queries, offering clear, practical guidance that builds trust and confidence.
  • Support employee relations casesalongside experienced People Business Partners, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes. This role will require you to lead end to end performance management and work with Managers to uplift capability. You will also lead on other more straight forward ER cases such as grievances and disciplinaries, escalating when the ER that is more complex.
  • Upskill managersthrough training and coaching, empowering them to lead confidently.
  • Drive engagement initiativesand projects that make the employee experience better every day, partnering with other teams including Learning, Reward, HR Operations and Talent.
  • Turn data into insight, spotting trends and shaping decisions that matter.
  • Play a key role in onboarding and lifecycle processes, ensuring every employee feels supported from day one.
About You
  • Experience as a People Advisor or HR generalist in a complex environment.
  • You will have managed end to end ER, including considerable experience leading performance management cases, and some experience of leading disciplinariesand grievances.
  • Confident advising managers and building trusted relationships.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable balancing day-to-day queries with longer-term priorities.
  • Collaborative and passionate about creating a positive workplace culture.
