A leading global lifestyle communications agency in London is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support employee relations and HR processes. This role requires a deep understanding of UK employment law, strong organizational skills, and the ability to advise managers on employee relations. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of HR experience in a creative or media environment. The position offers a blend of on-site and remote work.

Qualifications

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar HR role, ideally within a creative, media, or PR environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities.

This role will be based in the PURPLE/Together Group offices four days a week with one day working at home and will report into the Together Group HR team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations queries, providing accurate advice on policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Maintaining all employee information/updates with 100% accuracy to feed into monthly payroll
  • Support and coach managers on employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, and absence management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and ensure HR policies reflect current legislation.
  • Support performance management cycles, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback sessions.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives that reflect the agency’s values and creative culture.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Support HR reporting and analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Assist in the review and improvement of HR processes and systems.
Skills and Experience
  • 3 years’ experience plus in a similar HR role, ideally within a creative, media, or PR environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law (or relevant local legislation).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, dynamic setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — approachable, empathetic, and professional.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
