Job summary

A consulting firm in London is looking for an HR Advisor to support their HR Consultancy Service. The role involves advising on policies, handling employee relations issues, and contributing to policy development. Qualifications

Neway International is seeking a HR Advisor to join our client based with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets

Contract Type: Agency Worker

Start Date: 6 October 2025 End Date: 16 January 2026 (possible extensio)

Hours: 35 per week | Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00

Rate: £23.16 PAYE | £30.23 Umbrella

About the Role

The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking a confident and capable HR Advisor to join their HR Consultancy Service, covering post A500510004. This is a dynamic generalist role supporting managers across a range of employee relations matters and contributing to policy development and service improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Advising on HR policies, employment legislation, and conditions of service
  • Supporting managers with complex employee relations issues including sickness, discipline, grievance, redundancy, and TUPE
  • Consulting with Trade Unions, collective groups, and individuals during change processes
  • Contributing to the review and revision of HR policies and procedures
  • Promoting Tower Hamlets’ core behaviours and values in all interactions
What You’ll Bring
  • ✅ CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards it), or equivalent experience
  • ✅ Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and HR policy application
  • ✅ Experience in employee relations and consultation with Trade Unions
