HR Advisor

Salary: 45-50k based on experience

Location: London Bridge but will be moving to the Vauxhall area in the new year

Hours: 8am-5pm - this role will be full time office based

As an HR Advisor, you will provide expert HR support across the organisation, ensuring compliance with HR policies, employment law, and best practises. Your guidance will help shape a high-performing, inclusive workplace culture where everyone can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advice to managers on employee relations issues,
• Act as the primary HR contact for trade unions and employee representatives
• Lead or support union consultations and negotiations
• Draft correspondence and maintain accurate employee relations records
• Advise on UK employment law, ensuring our policies remain compliant
• Review HR policies
• Complete audits and compliance.
• Support the end-to-end recruitment process and provide smooth onboarding and inductions
• Assist managers with performance appraisals and development planning
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to identify training needs
• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems and produce insightful reports.
• Support payroll
• Contribute to HR projects

Key Requirements :

• Strong knowledge of UK employment law
• Experience in managing employee relations and union engagement
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail and confidentiality.
• CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) is beneficial
• Experience in construction, engineering, or similar industries is beneficial
