We have a new opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our HR Team based out of our Cardiff, Southampton, Reading, or Oxford office. The successful candidate will have day-to-day responsibility for acting as a first point of contact for all employees, providing support to the HR Business Partners to ensure employee relations processes run smoothly and efficiently, and supporting HR specialist teams with firm-wide programmes and processes.
We support hybrid working, typically with 3 days flexible office attendance, according to business need.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR contact for all Business Support employees, providing advice and guidance on policy, procedure, and all aspects of the employee life cycle.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert within the HR team on work experience and apprenticeships, helping to keep HR colleagues informed on best practices, thought leadership, and market trends.
- Provide meaningful analysis of people data and trends across the business.
- Support HR Business Partners as required, for example conducting exit interviews, maternity risk assessments, and other interviews.
- Support specialist areas of the HR team when requested, such as graduate recruitment campaigning and selection.
- Participate in activities that raise the profile, reputation, and services of the HR team, including understanding current HR services, writing content for marketing campaigns, leveraging social media, and using your professional network for ideas and initiatives.
- Support colleagues with wellbeing advice and signpost to additional support resources if necessary.
- Provide mentoring to HR Administrators, proofread letters and documents as required.
- Ensure all employee data is processed in accordance with GDPR and information security requirements.
- Store correspondence in employee files and ensure payroll information is accurate.
- Ensure all HR activities promote diversity and inclusiveness, ensuring accessibility and equality for all colleagues.

Skills / Experience Required
- Level 3 CIPD qualification, ideally Level 5, with a strong interest in Employee Relations and performance excellence.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to present data clearly.
- Good knowledge of HR Information Systems.
- Understanding of GDPR, information security, and employment legislation.
