White Horse Employment is delighted to be working exclusively with a leading manufacturing organisation to recruit an HR Advisor.

This is an excellent opportunity to support the HR Manager, senior leaders, department managers and employees across a busy, fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for an experienced HR professional who excels at communicating at all levels, providing clear guidance and support, and acting as a trusted partner to managers and staff alike.

You’ll be a strong team player who shows initiative, thinks ahead, and works creatively to solve problems within your area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver best practice HR across policies, employee relations, performance, absence and compliance.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment including adverts, shortlisting, interviews and onboarding.
  • Keep HR policies, staff handbook and records up to date in line with legislation (UK & overseas).
  • Support managers with grievances, disciplinary issues and long-term absence cases.
  • Plan and deliver training, inductions and refresher sessions; analyse training needs.
  • Provide HR and office admin support including contracts, payroll data, reporting and employee events.
  • Lead small HR projects and contribute to wider group initiatives.

Location: Based in Wiltshire with occasional UK/European travel

About You
  • CIPD Level 3 (Level 5 desirable) with solid HR advisory experience.
  • Strong recruitment, employee relations and HR administration background.
  • Confident with employment law, data protection and HR compliance.
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, discretion and attention to detail.
  • Advanced MS Office skills; HR/payroll systems experience desirable.
