Our Perks:

  • Potential bonus to be achieved
  • Health Hero service available
  • Be part of a people-focused culture that celebrates and supports our teams throughout the year, with company-wide events such as our Christmas Party, Charity Week, Employee Appreciation activities and Mental Health Week
A typical day in the life of a Senior HR Advisor:
  • Provide clear, practical advice on employment law and HR policies, ensuring consistent and compliant decision-making across sites.
  • Manage end-to-end HR cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance, sickness, and capability.
  • Support and guide managers through investigations, hearings, and formal processes.
  • Track case progress, identify trends, and elevate risks where appropriate.

  • Develop a strong understanding of site operations to provide tailored HR solutions.
  • Attend regional, HR, and GM meetings, contributing insights and recommendations.
  • Support managers with succession planning conversations and identifying development needs within their teams.
  • Promote best practice in performance management, coaching managers to handle issues early and effectively.

  • Consistent visibility across health clubs, building strong relationships and providing hands‑on support to managers and teams.

Joining us means stepping into a role where you'll genuinely grow and be supported as you take the next step in your HR career. You'll work closely with experienced HR Business Partners who will help you develop your confidence, capability and strategic thinking, while still giving you the autonomy to make a real impact across the Scotland region.

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years' experience in an HR Advisory or similar people-focused role.
  • CIPD Level 3 or working towards Level 5 (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong working knowledge of HR best practice, employment law, and HR policies.
  • Confident in managing HR cases with support from HRBPs where needed.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and support managers at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and HR data management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • A positive, people-focused approach with the right attitude, professionalism and behaviours to build trust and strong working relationships, not just the technical experience.
  • Required to travel to multiple locations across the region, including occasional overnight stays to support business needs.
  • Experience working in a multi-site or field-based HR role, ideally within hospitality, leisure or other service-led environments, along with familiarity with HRIS systems would be an advantage.

This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same, offering exposure to senior stakeholders, meaningful involvement in people initiatives, and the chance to shape the employee experience across multiple sites. If you're ambitious, people-focused and ready to stretch your skills, this is a place where you can truly progress.
