Job summary

A well-established global hospital group is seeking an HR Advisor to develop their HR career. The role will involve supporting HR queries and systems, ensuring excellent employee experiences while operating across two sites in Ashtead and North Downs. The ideal candidate will have HR experience and customer service skills, with opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in HR Coordinator, HR Assistant or HR Advisor roles.
  • Confidence in working within HR Information Systems is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dispersed team.

Responsibilities

  • Act as first line support for HR queries including Employee Relations.
  • Maintain employee details in Workday and Rostering systems.
  • Support the induction process for new starters.

Job description

HR Advisor - Ashtead Hospital Surrey KT21 and North Downs Hospital Surrey CR3 Full Time - 37.5 hours per week.

On Site - 2 days at Ashtead and 2 days at North Downs - hybrid role with flexibility of remote working 1 day per week. Driver with own vehicle beneficial due to dual site.

We are looking for people wishing to develop their HR career within a progressive, customer focused environment. You will be part of our Corporate People Team providing a first class front line HR Advisory service. You will be an advocate to the business ensuring that our employee experience is second to none.

Responsibilities
  • Acting as a first line support for general HR queries, including Employee Relations and Payroll, providing timely and accurate advice in line with Ramsay HR policy, legislation and guidance from subject matter experts
  • Working within our Workday and Rostering systems to ensure employee details are maintained and employees are paid correctly - full training will be provided
  • Ensuring that all employee compliance checks are accurate and up to date
  • Supporting the induction process and ensuring that new starters have an excellent experience
  • Attending formal Employee Relations meetings as company witness and note taker
  • Responsible for maintaining sickness records and the sickness absence process
Qualifications
  • Experience of working in an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant or HR Advisor capacity - CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experience
  • Confidence in and experience of working within HR Information Systems would be ideal, however full training will be provided
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a geographically dispersed team
  • Strong digital literacy/IT skills
