Overview

HR Adviser / HR Officer

An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Adviser / HR Officer to join a small, dynamic, and fast-growing HR consultancy. SALARY: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum + Benefits

LOCATION: Hybrid / Remote Working from Home with Client Visits covering Leeds, West Yorkshire and Surrounding Areas

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Full-Time, Permanent (flexible hours for the right person)

PLEASE NOTE: You will need a Full UK Driving Licence and your own vehicle with the ability to travel to client sites as required

DUTIES
  • Providing HR Advice: Deliver practical, solutions-focused guidance on employee relations, performance, and policy matters
  • Supporting HR Projects: Contribute to HR audits, handbook reviews, and engagement initiatives
  • Drafting Documentation: Prepare and update HR policies, contracts, and letters for clients
  • Coaching Managers: Help build managerial confidence in handling people issues effectively
  • Delivering Training: Support workshops and HR learning sessions for client teams
  • Ensuring Compliance: Keep client HR practices aligned with legislation and best practice
  • Building Relationships: Work closely with clients and colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality support
  • Managing Workload: Balance multiple client projects efficiently with a proactive approach
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • CIPD qualified (Level 3, 5, or working towards Level 5)
  • Previous experience in a generalist or advisory HR role
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable to changing client needs
  • Commercially aware and keen to learn and grow professionally
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to client sites as required
