Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy is looking for an HR Adviser for a 6-month temporary position based near Tower Hill. This role involves maintaining the DBS tracker, advising on compliance with DBS checks, and providing administrative support to the HR Director. Candidates should have experience in HR administration, knowledge of HR policies and safeguarding practices, and a CIPD qualification is preferred. The role comes with a salary of £35K, or £22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR administration or advisory roles.
• Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practice.
• Understanding of safeguarding, DBS processes, and data protection (GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain the DBS tracker with all applicants.
• Advise staff on which roles require a DBS check.
• Communicate with DBS applicants about requirements.
• Carry out ID checks on DBS applicants.
• Manage invoicing and seek sign off for payments.
• Support the Colleges Safeguarding Oversight Panel.
• Provide administrative support to the Director of HR.
• Maintain safeguarding records in line with GDPR.
• Act as Data Protection lead for the HR team.
• Maintain an up-to-date register of HR policies.
