Qualifications

The Role

As HR Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our department, through handling a wide range of administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency. You will be responsible for maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment efforts, managing on boarding and off boarding processes and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support with recruitment; including drafting and posting adverts and scheduling interviews.
  • Support with the on boarding and induction process for new starters.
  • Manage the HR Administration process, including issuing contracts, new starter documentation, change of contract details and ad hoc requests as required.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with line managers, ensuring effective communication at all times.
  • Assist with team member communications, including maintaining noticeboards; ensuring all relevant communications are displayed and are up to date.
  • Be responsible for the allocation of live-in staff accommodation and administer any changes. Coordinate staff room checks and maintenance issues as required.
  • Maintain the HR files and HR system, ensuring all employment related documentation is complete and is up to date.
  • Support with ad hoc HR projects as required.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills, and values :

  • Ideally some experience of HR Administration
  • A background in hospitality or leisure preferred
  • Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word
  • An interest in developing a career within Human resources
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels and a real team player
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise duties in line with the needs of the business
