We’re looking for a HR Assistant to join our HR team based at the Harley Street Clinic and Princess Grace Hospitals.

As a HR Assistant you will report into the Chief HR Officer (CHRO) and you will provide administrative and general HR support to the HR Business Partners, managers and employees, as well as lead specific HR projects as required across all areas of HR including performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, talent development and wellbeing.

What you’ll do
HR Administration & Support
  • Serve as the first point of contact for policies, practices and procedures and answer HR related enquiries, referring any complex queries to the HR Business Partners or Employee Relations Business Partner.
  • Support in HR Projects as directed by the CHRO.
  • Co-ordinating and scheduling HR meetings, exit interviews, employee of the quarter, and local induction and new joiner forum planning.
  • Perform audits to ensure HR compliance on such topics as return-to-work meetings, monthly 121s, annual leave, mandatory training, etc.
HR Operations
  • Report, analyse and share HR metric data and reports as required to ensure the management team acts on key people KPIs.
  • Produce monthly HR Board Reports and performance dashboard.
Employee Relations
  • Ensure that sickness absence is monitored and managed in accordance with HCA policy and procedures, escalating to the ER Business Partner where required.
  • Ensure Exit interviews are completed with all leavers.
  • Supporting the Employee relations business partner with flexible working applications, sickness and any other HR casework, taking minutes at Employee relations related meetings. Drafting invitation and outcome letter when requested.
  • Prepare correspondence for all HR enquiries.
Internal Communications
  • Support in the creation and facilitation of department newsletters with key HR updates.
  • Propose topics and stories for bi-weekly hospital newsletter; collect ideas and coordinate with external copywriters and internal marketing / communications teams to ensure delivery of relevant and engaging content.
What you’ll bring
  • CIPD qualified or working towards, or demonstrable relevant experience is desirable.
  • Experience in Human Resources providing HR administration in a multi-disciplinary organization in either the public or private sector.
  • Knowledge of the principles, tools, techniques and developments in HR management.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
