About this opportunity

Westmorland and Furness Council’s HR and OD Service is seeking an experienced and dedicated administrator to join our newly formed HR Administration and Payroll team.

The HR Admin and Payroll team ensures the efficient and robust delivery of the payroll and this role is crucial to support the dedicated team deliver a responsive, accurate and effective service.

Key elements of the role will be to work accurately to specific processes, prioritise workloads effectively and to support both colleagues and the service in continuously improving.

Who we are looking for…

You must be an experienced administrator and an effective team player who communicates well at all levels. You should be able to demonstrate efficient organisation skills, attention to detail and experience of working within an office environment in a large complex organisation.

You should be able to demonstrate experience of maintaining accurate records, working to deadlines and be able to apply processes and procedures within a complex service area.
