The ideal candidate will have strong Linux and HPC skills, a customer‑focused mindset, and the flexibility to participate in a weekend standby rotation (standard business hours, compensated). The position offers a hybrid work model, international collaboration, and the opportunity to work with cutting‑edge technology in a diverse, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor, maintain, and manage the physical and virtual infrastructure of HPC data centers, ensuring reliability and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, including OS management and upgrades.
  • Serve as the customer’s Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for technical support, providing timely responses and solutions.
  • Perform daily system administration tasks, including user access management and defect resolution.
  • Implement and support HPC solutions at customer sites, covering server, storage, network, OS, and cluster management software.
  • Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and customer stakeholders to design, implement, and upgrade services.
  • Participate in a weekend standby rotation (standard business hours, approximately 12 weekends per month, compensated).
  • Maintain and update system documentation, monthly reporting, and contribute to service reviews and knowledge sharing. Report to the Solutions Services Group (SSG) organization structure.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in Linux system administration (e.g., SUSE, RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and HPC environments.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, monitoring, and supporting HPC systems and data center infrastructure.
  • Experience with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and cluster management software is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills, including written and verbal communication in English (mandatory); additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, international team environment.
  • Flexibility to participate in a weekend standby rotation and occasional on‑site visits.
