Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking an experienced HPC Engineer to support world-leading HPC platforms powering critical simulation, analysis and engineering workloads across multi-site facilities and a range of engineering disciplines. This hands-on role combines operations, performance optimisation, troubleshooting and project delivery for cutting-edge high-performance engineering environments.

They’re looking for an experienced HPC Engineer to support the platforms powering critical simulation, analysis and engineering workloads.

This is a hands‑on role combining HPC operations, performance optimisation, troubleshooting and project delivery.

What We're Looking For

• Strong Linux-based HPC experience
• Experience within scientific computing, simulation or high‑throughput environments
• Experience with workload and queue management
• Strong troubleshooting across performance, licensing, data movement and applications
• Experience supporting enterprise or engineering‑led environments
• Experience delivering maintenance, upgrades and changes with minimal service impact
