A non-profit organization in the UK is hiring a Housing Support Worker to assist adults facing homelessness and other challenges. The role involves providing tailored support and ensuring sustainable housing solutions. Ideal candidates will have experience with complex needs and a commitment to empowering individuals. Based primarily in Brent (Main office near the Civic Centre), you will provide support to Brent residents and participants in a variety of settings, including their homes, community locations, Brent Hubs, and libraries across the borough. The service supports adults who have been or are at risk of homelessness, have experienced social exclusion, have previous criminal convictions, suffer with mental health, have substance misuse, and/or could have a learning disability.
We are hiring a Housing Support Worker to join our floating support service. You will support participants on their journey towards recovery, reablement, and independence, all within a compassionate, trauma‑informed environment.
Salary: £27,000 (Annual). Shift Pattern: 8‑month fixed‑term contract, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota that can range between 08:00–16:00, 09:00–17:00 and 10:00–18:00. You may be required to work outside these hours depending on service and participant requirements.
