BDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker based in Mansfield.

You will be working with vulnerable people helping them with support around housing applications, tenancies and job and education opportunities.

Responsibilities

• To complete a support plan with each tenant detailing all elements of support required for their tenancy to be maintained – including any signposting required. This must be reviewed on a regular basis.
• To work alongside an individual in understanding how best to provide support through a thorough risk assessment process to highlight any risks to themselves, their tenancy, or others – this must be reviewed on a regular basis.
• To provide information, advice, and guidance to enable tenants to understand their responsibilities and support them to develop effective strategies to manage those responsibilities.

Car driver is required.

Enhanced DBS required

Experience working in housing, or with vulnerable adults is an advantage.

This is a part time role, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a temp ongoing basis with a view to possible permanent role for the right person.

Pay rate- £12.24ph PAYE or £15.72ph Umbrella
