Job summary

A community charity based in High Wycombe is seeking a Supported Housing Worker to provide essential housing support to vulnerable residents. The role involves developing support plans, engaging residents, and promoting their wellbeing while maintaining key performance metrics. Ideal candidates should possess relevant qualifications and experience with vulnerable populations, as well as strong communication skills. This full-time position requires shifts between 08:00 and 22:00, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable individuals and/or people with a history of homelessness.
• A qualification in a related field, such as housing or social care.
• Knowledge of mental health and substance-related issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts between 08:00–22:00, including weekends and bank holidays.

• Provide high-quality housing support to residents.
• Engage with residents to maximize their benefits.
• Work towards agreed Key Performance Indicators.
• Support residents in developing independent living skills.
• Promote resident's wellbeing and safety.
