A great opportunity for a qualified housing law specialist to manage varied casework, provide expert advice, and support clients across possession matters, tenancy issues, housing disputes, and disrepair.

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Housing Solicitor who is experienced in housing law and confident managing a varied caseload.

As a Housing Solicitor you will advise clients on possession and eviction proceedings, tenancy agreements, housing disputes, and disrepair claims while preparing clear, well-drafted legal documents. You will represent clients in negotiations and court, demonstrating strong advocacy and communication skills.

The company is seeking a Housing Solicitor who can work collaboratively, stay updated on legislation, and support the delivery of high-quality legal services within a busy practice.

DUTIES
  • Manage a Diverse Caseload: Possession and eviction matters, tenancy agreements, disputes, and housing disrepair
  • Provide Expert Advice: Deliver clear guidance on all aspects of housing law
  • Draft and Review Documentation: Prepare contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence
  • Represent Clients: Attend negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings
  • Maintain Legal Knowledge: Keep up to date with legislation and case law
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work across the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions
  • Legal Aid Applications: Make applications and assess case merits, including use of the Legal Aid CCMS Portal
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Qualified solicitor with previous experience in housing law
  • Strong understanding of housing law, tenancy regulations, and dispute resolution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
