Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a Housing Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the Housing Occupational Therapy team. You will support assessments, advise on home adaptations and collaborate with social care and housing partners to help residents live safely at home.

The role is based in Wiltshire with a hybrid working model; 37 hours per week, and salary range £31,537–£33,699 per year. Interviews are scheduled for Friday 25 September 2026. Applications via the council email are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Previous occupational therapy assessment experience would be an advantage.
• Willing to consider applications from individuals who have worked in similar roles.
• Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Advise and guide customers requiring home adaptations or alternative suitable accommodation.
• Collaborate with Adult Social Care, Home Improvement Agency, Housing Management Service and Registered Social Landlords.
• Support the wider Housing Occupational Therapy team with high standards of assessment.
