Office Based - Weekly Paid

Our client urgently needs up to 2 Housing Officers to start immediately (after onboarding checks and DBS completed). Duties include:

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high quality Housing Service to existing and future tenants
• React to all emergencies, ensuring full support to the victim
• React to all emergency repairs and attend site if required
• Work with Housing Manager to highlight and investigate potential tenancy fraud
• Provide housing advice to tenants covering welfare benefits, claims, housing benefit, pension credit and disability allowances
• Communicate with stakeholders, support workers, agencies, adult social services, police and internal colleagues and management
• Help with general enquiries and signpost to relevant department

Qualifications

You will be:

• Housing experience is essential
• Resilient
• Strong communication skills at all levels both written and oral
• Engaging with great listening and empathy skills

A DBS check will be carried out and essential for this role
